Why would the Wii get any 3rd party support? According to some analysts its bubble is about to burst. The PS3 will pass it soon and in 2-3 years the Wii HD will come out. Nintendo only make sequels. It is the same old kiddy games. It is not new and fresh games like GT 5, GTA 4, MGS 4, Silent Hill 5, Resident Evil 5, Final Fantasy XIII, Madden (insert year here).
Think about it for a moment. 3rd paties can waste 50 million on a PS360 game and sell around 1 million copies. On the Wii they would waste 10 million and sell 700 k at most. It is basic math. 1 million is higher than 700k, 60 million in revenue is bigger than 35 million.
Also, developers are not making games for profit only. Their major concern is to push the hardware to its limits and deliver high budget games. That is why the Wii is a non factor this generation.
