I have not used game sharing yet so not 100% on how it works, but I get the impression that you can't just play someone elses game for 1-hour, but that you need that person to be playing as well. Please correct me if I am wrong.

The person who owns the game can let you play it on your system, but through theirs, but you have to be present to do so. It works wonderfully, though!
