These days, I have to factor in multiplayer for my wife to determine if a purchase is worth it, and determining if I can sink time into it. You might want to look at picking up Darksiders 2 on the eshop for $7.99. If you enjoy the LOTR or hobbit, the lego hobbit is also on sale and a nice pile of dual screen multiplayer fun in a really nicely created shire. |
I definitely recommend Captain Toad, SM3DW (which has amazing multiplayer) and ZombiU (there's a multiplayer mode which is pretty fun). They're superb titles and although ZombiU lacks polish, it's still amazing and one of the only horror games on the WiiU. RE:R is good too, though I wasn't too impressed with the last few bits in the game.
I heavily suggest that you get Pikmin (A++ multiplayer), Smash and Bayonetta, at least eventually. They are games worth owning the console for alone. I'm not an RTS or character-action game kinda guy, but Pikmin and Bayonetta really wowed me. And Smash speaks for itself. :)
