Trust me, I have nothing against Nintendo. But let me tell you where I am coming from.
I loathe some of the more annoying Nintendo fans. Every win for Nintendo makes it worse. So not only don't I have anything to gain from good Wii U sales, but I also get punished for it.
The next thing to consider is that I may have a bet running for not so stellar Wii U sales. It's not final yet but that would be another win for me if Wii U loses.
Last but not least, I already have all games that I wanted for my Wii U, some of which will release next year, but they're definitely coming. The sooner the Wii U dies, the sooner Nintendo will be forced to bring a new console, which will make me really happy. I like buying new technology.
So you see, it's nothing against Nintendo, but I personally benefit greatly from Wii U's bad sales.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
