I think people are really overstating the effect of the New 3DS announcement. Sales in the west were down by a pretty solid margin all year, even in the months before the announcement.

So what?It was needing a revision from february!Dsi and dsi xl had two years and one year respectively,while were more succesful,then the successor to ds,the 3ds came!Even dslite had two years and then got a major revision!3DS will have reach 4 years and 3ds xl almost three years before it gets the major revision!

That has absolutely nothing to do with what was said. Darwin said the announcement of New 3DS caused sales in the west to suffer, I explained to him that sales were down by a large margin before the announcement even happened.
Ur post is completely irrelevant to what I and Darwin said.
