5.65 million PS3's were sold from launch till the end of the first September.
11.7 million PS4's were sold from lauch till the end of the first Septermber.
This seems to indicate that the PS4 is sellign at roughly 2x the PS3
Regardless of the what the other consoles are doing, PS4 will acheive >50% marketshare and sales that exceed the Wii from last generation. Because the combined sales of the Xbox One and Wii U will probably not exceed 100 million, and because the PS4 will, I think its really impressive regardless of how much people will be requred to downplay it.
