Destiny was and is not a "flop;" as of 12/19/14 (1 week BEFORE Christmas):

1) 12,869,066 players logged in
2) 22,932,276 characters created
3) 872,404,449 collective hours played

It might not be your cup of tea, but those numbers are insane. If you call it anything other than a massive success, you're factually wrong.

Ask Activision what they expected from the game, then. Only they can decide if it's a flop, since they commissioned the entire thing.
