I already said that I have no other source for the trailer thing. As for the other thing, I can only find articles saying that the URL copying thing works on the seetheinterview website, but I do find it more likely that people could somehow share the link with friends, than that a) 77.5m people actually rented the movie (which would mean that it made $465m on Youtube alone) or b) fewer people rented it and rewatched it time and again.

Something about that view count just isn't right.

Unless the people who rented it watched it more than once, maybe a 2nd time with friends or family, which I find more believable, so that could cut the count down by 1/3 to 1/2 or so legit rentals.  That's my guess, anyway.
