These estimates would mean that Wii U is down 40k YOY for this week. I'm skeptical that's the case. I get that Japanese sales are down but for the last 6 months both Europe and USA have shown big yoy gains. I'm surprised to see that evaporate during the holidays.
They really need to kill the 8gb model and drop the 32g model to $250/225.
I wouldn't be surprised if they show a redesign at e3. Something that makes the tablet cheaper to manufacture as well as increases battery life + touch screen responsiveness.
