I meant to write "lower level graphics in comparison to FFXV". I'll fix that part now.
And world size is related to disc space in some ways. Gotta store all the textures and stuff.

Depends on what you compare. characters and some scenery elements are more detailed in FF but xenoblade's enviroments are more filled and stuff like rock formations are more detailed.
