Even if AMD had a new console chipset ready by 2016 for nintendo, that would mean that their new console is released in 2017 at the soonest, unless they want to sit on a 2016 chip for years. A new nintendo console in 2017 is just too early and will not show enough of a graphical leap over the PS4/XB1 to be taken seriously. It will be a wiiU all over again.

Nintendo can't be that stupid.

Its more likely to be a proper amazon console if anything at all.
