The question is what that 14mn statement from the playstation experience at the beginning of December meant. If it meant Sony had sold through 14mn by the beginning of December, then VGC would be way off in the other direction, which would be weird considering the whole year of undertracking.

There was a photo during a montage that glimpsed by the screen as Sony announced fastest selling console to date, ever. In that photo it said 14xxxxxx but there was no actual statement that talked about it. Besides, they announced the 13.5 shipped In September. A whole two months and a week before PSX. I can't conclude from that that they had onlyjust reached 14 mil sold through during that time frame given on bf week alone they sold over a million world wide.
