1. Xenoblade X. I know Xeno has actual fully explorable world and based on the original game and what monolith has said it should be huge. I am unsure about FFXV. From what i see it seems to draw alot from Dragon's dogma in terms of overworld, so, im expecting a nice world size, but not massive Xeno style.
2. Err... different questions in one. FFXV may have a more living world because i expect it to be smaller in size, but with that said, both have shown busy cities, but maybe FFXV a bit busier. As for vistas, given the original, Xenoblade.
3. I'm confused as you separated combat and gameplay. I expect Xeno to have a more cerebral experience and i expect FFXV to be button mashy ala KH. So, personally xenoblade.
4. I'm going to consider overall gameplay here. I guess Xenoblade aswell from what we know. Theres gonna be gear customization, character customization, lots of side quests with meaningful rewards, exploration with rewards, etc. I know the Xenoblade formula is already optimised and works, but FFXV is still a mistery until we play it.
5. Xenoblade probably. Xeno games always have deep storylines, i dont expect X to disappoint. FF has always been hit or miss. So, it might b good, or it might be terrible. Since Nomura was involved i'm going to expect something decent.
6. Xenoblade X. Hundreads of hours ensue if you are a completionist.
7. Difficult to say. Both have good ones.
8. Both will probably not have sidequests of the quality of Fallout 3 and Skyrim. These games focus on delivering a better main narrative and the side quest usually receive less atention and are there to support the exploration.
9. Xenoblade X, though the online mode worries me. Hopefully doesnt intrude on the single player. I expect FFXV to be decent.
10. I will buy both day one, aslong as there arent any nasty surprises. Its clear i'm more excited about Xeno cause i know what to expect and because the FF series is more volatile in terms of delivering quality installments.
