FFXIII itself wasn't bad but you might have a point there with it's spin-offs and even then it's not considered to be a mainline game like FFX-2 ...
FF XIV was HEAVILY improved from the originally launched game. ARR fixed many of the lingering issues of the past release plus not many fans really care about the online games either so SE could've just left it in a crap state but they manned up to fix some of the damage to the brand ...
Bravely Default isn't even an FF game! It's average compared to the really good FF games I've come across such as FFVII or FFX ...
Personally speaking I thought the lowest point of FF was FFXII ...
