Not good at all. Most of my favorite games come from Japan (FF, MG, Souls). The future seems worrisome to be honest.
What Sony's Japan studio have been doing for the last year, the PS4 need much support to stand on its feet. Looking at the line up of 2015, while much better than this year, but still not that great.

Why are you worried? You'll still be getting those games.

Worried about the future not the present, the fanbase for those games would be significantly smaller without Japan. Japanese companies are having financial problems as it is.

These games will still sell well in the west though so it should not be a problem.
