Today I realized the Wii U will never pass the Vita in sales

But it was something that was supposed to be a good sign for Vita. What it really shows is that there is no sign of good news for the Vita. It's dead, it's been dead, and it will remain dead. 

It is as dead as the Wii U.

Well not dead enough to only sell in the tens of thousands during the holiday season, but certainly not doing great.
