Sony is definitely advertising better than they did with the PS3. In fact, I've seen probably just as many ads for the PS4 as I have for the X1. Anecdotal, yes (like you), but their message is spreading far better (obviously, given the PS4's current reception to date - marketing has helped tremendously).

no doubt sony is doing a lot better advertising with the ps4, but it's just constant advertising with the xbox one, i don't see sony advertising nearly as much.
