Could Rockstar make a better Zelda than Nintendo?

Capcom worked on 3 Zelda titles, if I recall correctly. Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons, and Minish Cap?

Nintendo didn't help develop (or do most of it?)? If not, I stand corrected as those three games are some of the best games I've ever played in my life.
