This is the most accurate thing i've seen in a while. MS wants to own not only the desk top but the living room multimedia centers with their OS. Games come secondary to that. This is goal #1. This is why they wanted to partner with Sony. They knew Sony was a dominant company and wanted to partner with them because dominance would be a sure thing.
