Given the enormous number of problems that VR still has to overcome, the fact that it isn't exactly user friendly, and how incredibly awkward it would be for anyone who isn't single (blind and deaf in your own house), no Nintendo won't be envious. VR has its place, but it isn't in the mainstream. Could you even imagine playing anything remotely twitch or fast paced with that thing? Talk about serious vertigo. The Wii had the advantage of being user friendly, cheap, solved most of the problems motion controls had, and fused conventional and unconventional gameplay. Comparing VR to the Wii is not a fair comparison.
