Well then... you seem to be just fine with double standards in your own home so I would think your views on equality between genders would indeed fall the same way.

His circumcision was still his choice was it not? I don't remember him saying you couldn't talk about it with the mother of your child. Just that it is up to her not him, just like with his circumcision being up to him not her.

I think in his opinion if she thinks she wants to get an abortion you should shut up because it's her body, end of story. From this post I would think this person very much doesn't believe they have a say in the running of things at all.
