No. We all know what's REALLY going on: Nintendo just doesn't kiss 3rd parties' asses and thus they're bitter about it. Nintendo refuses to be intimidated by what can best be described as bullying or at the very least incessant whining. What 3rd parties want would be detrimental, to both Nintendo and consumers at large. And considering how 3rd parties are continuing to struggle with making any sort of profit, continually releasing games unfinished, repeatedly lay staff off, and are having difficulties keeping the market stable let alone expanding it while Nintendo has hardly had a dent made in their company then it's clear who's the smarter company. No need to try and pander to a bunch of incompetent twits |
I do agree that have a third party publisher lead industry has done nothing but shrunk and devalue the product of video games. I wouldnt say they dont know whT they are doing its just they care more about their bottom line as opposed to having a healthy market in the console space.

Let's also not forget the Sale of used games have squeezed the pockets of 3rd party. So this might have been out of necessity. People seem to forget these games cost Millions to make and for every Gamestop there are plenty of used versions of everygame, this is in every county, somtimes town. So I would say that this cutting into their bottom line has done a lot to push them to these types of activities, lets not forget of rising costs in software developement.
