I really enjoyed the finale and yes if you actually paid attention or had the desire for Korra and Asami to hook up (I did but only because they are both hot anime characters) then the ending sure cemented any notions of the two of them going on a life journey together. The intimate talks and the fact that they grew to be so close to one another (Asami was the only one Korra wrote to for 3 years!) and the blushing from Korra when Asami complimented her new look and the physically close hug given to her and that last scene of the finale! Walking up to a spirit portal hand in hand with the mountain range backdrop and then upon entering the portal they then assume the marriage stance facing one another intimately close holding hands staring in eachothers eyes! I mean if it wasn't obvious before well the picture is much clearer after considering the subtle clues. They literally looked like they could kiss one another! The walk to the spirit portal hand in hand was even zoomed in on! And the last scene is the two of them in an intimate trance! The kiss was very well implied. Either way if I am thinking too much into this and they are now just besties that is fine too but it sure didn't look that way at all. Great show. Great finale to Korra's adult transformation into a beautiful women. I love these Avatar shows and I sincerely hope another Avatar show is made some time in the future.
