It would actually be four weeks, since we don't have Dec 13 figures in yet. That said, to accomplish 20 million by Jan 3rd (end of the final week), it would have to do at least 1.1 million each week that's left, which it will not (outside of Christmas week, where it should top 1 million again). Thus, it will fall just shy of it, probably hitting 18.5-19 million (which is fantastic)!

Dec 20 - 18,716,530 (1,275,000)
Dec 27 - 19,466,530 (750,000)
Jan  03 - 20,016,530 (550,000)

Possible yes. Do I hope it happens, yes. The more success any of the three companies have the better for us gamers but I still have my doubts that it will happen.

Edit: We found out that there is a shortage in Europe recently. And I feel like a lot of NA has resorted to buying their Christmas gifts around Black Friday to get the best deals possible. So while these numbers would be great, I feel like it might be asking too much. Like I said though, I hope I'm wrong.


We don't know how much the shortage will impact the Holiday sales, yet. How can you feel something like that? It happens basically every year. Late November the sales spike during black friday, but Christmas surpasses Black Friday. Usually December moves a lot more units, than November.
