Probably not. I think most Nintendo gamers are young and rely on their parents to buy them consoles and games. A lot of the older Nintendo/Sega generation have moved on to more adult oriented consoles. Now they may be buying Nintendo for their children or to relive their childhood memories, but they will most likely have another console as a main. Plus we have big ass expensive TVs now that we don't want people throwing controllers into. 
Also, they have missed out on an achievement system and people are already invested on other ecosystems.
