If they get serious, and release a powerful next-gen console with a standard controller, then it's possible they can reach the top again. That will get third-parties on board.
Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, The Elder Scrolls, Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Grand Theft Auto, Madden, FIFA, Sonic the Hedgehog, Tekken, Battlefield, Assassin's Creed, Minecraft, Tomb Raider, etc.
All on one console. It's a recipe for success.
