The "they" that said Wii was too catered to casuals were the same "they" that were ignorant of the existence of games like Monster Hunter Tri, Sin & Punishment 2, etc.

Wii U's failures are its own fault, not the Wii's.

The Wii U's failures are Nintendo's failures not the Wii's failures. All I'm saying is that Nintendo admittingly catered too much to the casual market and it hurt the potential of the Wii U. The name "Wii U" was a big mistake by Nintendo. Also there are way too many dude-bro casual gamers now a days.

Oh they're definitey Nintendo's failures, I just don't think Wii U's low sales can be blamed on the Wii when Nintendo got so much wrong with the system itself, from its software to its name to its price to its advertising.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Wii U, but they could hardly have done a worse job of handling it, commercially speaking.

Great games are great, but bad timing can kill you.
