Sony as a company is focusing more on it's playstation division and I'm willing to bet they are willing to invest in a lot more 1st and 3rd party exclusives (among other things) to draw in more people to the ps4. You spend money to make more money. Sony is banking a lot on the ps4. How much money MS has compared to sony doesn't really matter because I'm sure MS is only gonna devote so much resources to the xbox brand.
