Wii U 2012 same week

Pushing Units: Launch Hype

Pushing Units Super Mario 3D World, WWHD Bundle, cheaper price (also now competing with PS4/XB1)

Obviously with the launch of two next gen consoles a lot of attention would've been diverted from the console. Also the whole 3D World campaign screwed up people's minds, thinking it's just a glorified 3DS

So just a 2k boost from last year with two of the biggest games in the industry, plus other from this year and a whole 2013 library under its belt, and it only manages this? I know the Wii U situation isn't good, but this just seems ridiculously low. I believe it will be adjusted up sometime, but until then, does anyone speculate differently? Please refrain from hateful comments, because I am not hating on any other console or game.
