Why is it not possible to trade Pokémon online? a.k.a. Why Nintendo is worse than EA, Ubisoft, Activision etc.

Well unless this is some of the site's secret ''member only'' talk or im really missing something i stil don't get it, you can trade pokemon... or does he mean the games? wait what? i don't get it, my head hurts
