The ending annoyed me so much. Anyone who likes intelligent or coherent writing shouldn't be okay with that. There was no set up. And now people are calling it groundbreaking? Based off of what? If that ending surprised you or felt like a twist, that's called bad writing and poor set up. If they wanted to make that work, they should have actually built it up in a less vague way. I'm trying to avoid spoilers here, but I guarantee that that isn't where most people saw that going. Such a poor job with such an important topic.
