Disolitude, did you put any thought into that or are you just trying to sound like a fanboy? I'm gathering the latter over the former.

First off, all...I repeat, ALL 3rd parties are out to make money. While the noble idea of wanting to make the best experience they can is quite possibly high on their list of attributes, money is number 1 for them all. It's a fact of business that most of us gamers don't like to entertain.

To consider your imaginative conversation for a moment, then all games should be played on a PC. Or to consider consoles only, last generation should have been Xbox only instead of the weaker powered PS2.

Then we must explore your other notion. That the gaming experience is of the utmost importance to the developer. In which case it is completely subjective to which console can deliver the perfect rendition of their artistic experience and therefore the Wii can very well compete with the HD consoles by providing a more robust interactive experience that submerses the player as a more active participant more so than merely a button masher. Does the developer want to you simply press play to listen to their orchestra.....or have you conduct it yourself?

At any rate, either notion suggests the Wii is clearly in place to entice a larger portion of the 3rd party pie.
