Wii, third party support by the end of this gen?

No it won't.

The best game developers want to make games to push their limits and ideas to the max. Games like MGS4 and Fable2...

The rest like EA, Ubisoft and the new Sega want to just make money... wii will have lots of games from those companies.

No hard drive + lack of HD graphics + lack of a decent online component + constant need to waggle the wii mote in ways it wasn't waggled before put wii in difficult spot with 3rd party devs.

Let me explain my waggle point as some may not understand what I mean...



Bioware game designer: "We have this new awesome RPG coming out for the wii"

EA exec: "Wow, this game is amazing...but its on the wii...where are the wii mini games? where is the part when you paint the fence even though it doesn't belong in this game? Back to the design room Mr. Bioware designer!!!"

Bioware designer: "But this game doesn't need those aspects"

EA exec: "Then why didn't we make it for the ps360? it would look better and be much bigger in scope with amazing online?"
