Nope. Wasn't discussing the sales of new IP's versus established IP's. I was pointing out games regarded as "GOTG" and even "GOTY" are often not the best selling games of that particular generation or year. So your "bubu its no fair lou is a new ip :( " is not really relevant. Hope that helped.

Wii Fit
Wii Party
Just Dance
Kinect Adventures
Minecraft
Kinect Sports
LittleBigPlanet
Gears of War
Plus various handheld games, were all new IP's and all outsold LoU on PS3 (according to this site anyway). Does this make it strange that LoU is widely regarded here as the game of last generation? I mean surely it should have then outsold all of these other new IP's, not to mention the slew of other titles it beat out, some of which outsold it by more than a 4:1 ratio.
I hope this better helps you to understand the discussion that was taking place and why it's silly to assume that because someone thinks a game might be GOTG worthy, it should automatically outsell another game.
