There are many games I'm on the fence about that I'll never buy because:
a) Nintendo almost never lowers prices
b) Their Club Nintendo program sucks

I'm definitely not alone in that regard. So now I only buy games I know I will like. And in the end that means both Nintendo and me loses out.

Whaaaa whaaa whaaa

I won't buy a PlayStation 4 because it costs more than $40 and I don't get 6 free games with it. Both Sony and I lose out.

This is how it works in the real world: You and Nintendo disagree what the best price point for their product is. You get to make the decission if you'll buy the game or not, Nintendo prices their products so that they protect their investments in the current game and their future offerings. If that proves to be too rich for you then don't buy the game. Nintendo doesn't owe you anything. They offer you their products and you decide if it's worth it for you or not, end of story. No shit they would sell more if they gave away two free games with every game you sold and free Zero suit Samus sex dolls with every purchase. Or better yet, if they gave away the game for free with a $50 gift certificate and Iwata comes to your house and does the dishes every time you buy their games.
