That made me chuckle. :)

Some of my friends really do that. I usually just keep it short, sweet and to the point. Not sure what kind of answer they're expecting when they ask me why I bought Super Smash Bros... I bought it because I want it... and they should know why I want it since they're the ones selling it to me.

Anyway my general point is that it's not like anyone is policing you to ensure your answers are 'correct'; you're free to bullshit all of them if it pleases you. Even with highly explicit Sonic fanfictions.

Now I'll know who to blame when Nintendo buys Sonic the Hedgehog and ships Sonic + Amy. :p
