Thats cause people paid a yearly fee for it... Its not free if you don't pay for it

Hence why Nintendo should reward loyal customers more often... Other companies do it all the time. 

I don't think anyone cares for an annual fee if the content is worth it. Look at how popular Loot Crates are... 

The content's worth is subjective and considering how much whining there are across the internet about how people want "better" games for it, I m sure there are many people that dont think its worth it cause a # of the games they give aren't all that interesting in the eyes of many people.

And they dont really reward people for being loyal... Its part of the deal that people get for paying yearly for it.

And Nintendo does reward people for buying their games but others just give you games after u pay yearly for it instead of just buying games and again those that dont want to pay yearly will get heavly punished so no, not a win-win
