Yes, Sony is so anti-consumerist, that's why it outsells Nintendo ten to one. You can do all the research you want, you won't find cheap Nintendo games where I live. I have never watched a Sony advertisement in my life. I did my research on PS Plus and saw that it provided more content than it costs. Such brainwashing! |
At least you can read between the lines without the ened for the winky face, I'll give you that.
Pray tell, where do you live?, I already know the answer I'm going to give you based on present economics data but the question is are you willing to accept reason?.
See I live on a small island, The Isle of Man (contary to popular belief that Americans in general don't know we exist and have one of the oldest parliments in the world next to Iceland) and we only have one HMV store, One Tescos, one PC world and one GAME store, the former not really selling many in the games dept but still being almost the same price as GAME sells for, now GAME in general award you points for buying games/hardware in general, being awarded points in which you can save up and eventually slash some pricing for products you wish to buy from them and all for just buying what you were going to buy in general, no added fee or price, that is a basic free deal because:
1)I'm buying the game I was going to buy anyway otherwise I've no reason to even enter the store in the first place (shocking I know)
2)There is no other requirement needed to obtain those points, nothing in the store gates you off but your currency in your bank/pocket (general resources all humans use in everyday life, another shocking concept based in reality).
Now apart from that one example, I can browse multiple stores in the EU that can deliver to my island, if all prices are the same I simply bide that thing humans call time and visit again (like how we wait for that brack friday deal/cyber Monday/January sales/easter sales/summer/autum/Xmas sales etc), there's also me going on vacation or visiting other european areas and as always when I do I'll always visit the game stores other EU countries have and browse.
The third and final advantage I have up my own sleeve is my currency having more value, meaning I can effectively buy my other games cheaply around the EU, you say you cannot find them cheaply around your area which tells me the place you came from is not doing so well economically, to which I'll ask; why are you even living in such a poor area?.
I can use the internet, venture around the world and take advantage of other market prices and their economy in general, why can't you simply do same?, it;s not rocket science and it;s certainly not hard, especially if you're claiming being more than happy to spend 1000 in your currency, money sounds like a complete non issue to you so why don't you take proper advantage of other world markets and their economies?.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
