Also I wasn't talking about sales either. I was more talking about the quality of said title. /Me points at Resident Evil 6 Metacritic and User Feedback, and general consesus of quality.

Also Resident Evil 6 is a decline from Resident Evil 5 and 4 on this site. It also sold less than Street Fighter IV. Monster Hunter PSP I think pretty much equals it. Resident Evil 1 & the Gamecube version I believe is above it as well. (Lets not forget Resident Evil 6 was quick to decline in price soon after launch). 
(PC sales aren't included in this data due to the fact this site lacks it).

Add: Basically if the quality is lacking from the title, it will most likely not be reborn and put out the pasture after that one title.  

I think its been mentioned quite enough, but this site's numbers haven't been close to accurate for a while.  Re6 is Capcom's third highest selling title.  It sold better than RE5, which means the franchise actually grew after that title.  Re5 and Re 6 also outsold the previous 4 Resident Evil titles.  Just because the internet thinks the game isn't good, does't mean it isn't.
