This something I've been thinking about since I've started reading some professed reasons for hating the 360 over the other systems. What I don't understand is why MS is alone in getting so much hate. I get the console fanboy thing, but to hate MS and support Sony or Nintendo makes no sense to me. Discounting those who like or dislike a company based on the console they make, I see alot of MS hate because it's MS, because it's a company that fucks up ppls lives, strong arms their way into industries.

But that's bullshit. Yes, MS does all that and change. So does Sony and Nintendo. I'm not defending MS as being decent relative to the competition, but the ignorance of people who profess hate for MS based on the bad things they do. How can one hate MS for attempted monopolies when Nintendo did the same? Or how about the fact that Sony( and Nintendo and MS) outsources much of it's manufacturing to poor third world countries, paying absolute shit wages in absolute shit conditions where they're breathing in metal dust, and if they dare try to unionize, the company will have a little chat with the government, who'll have a little chat with the Army/Police, and "take care" of the problem?

I can understand hate based on corporate actions, but selectively hating giant Multinationals who all do the same horrible shit to millions of people, just reeks of hypocrisy, and a wanna-be "me-too" attitude.
