It's more than likely not a marketing thing, but I'm still retaining a small amount skepticism since the whole thing's just so damn absurd. We'll see what Sony does, I for one am pretty sure that the movie will be released in some form, if that makes up for the lost money might be doubtful but it remains to be seen. And if the whole thing's been leaked on the internet already anyway (which btw. would make all of this completely retarded, I thought the hackers didn't want people to see this movie?), then Sony might as well put it out officially and try to at least get some part of the pie. |
Well, this movie hasn't actually been leaked but other movies have such as "The Fury" has been leaked so in terms of the hackers "objective?" they are still technically staying "true" (for a lack of a better word) to what they want. But yea, what I was saying is that once Sony releases it on say psn, all a hacker really has to do is buy it, capture it and upload it and hes done! We will see how this will turn out though but hopefully, since this movie is "cancelled," the hackers won't bother people again after christmas however I doubt it though T_T
