Looking at user scores all over the internet I doubt many people older than 16 are having fun. Granted, the majority might still be happy. Lol... :p 

You think user scores on the internet are representative of the general buyer? Especially for huge games like those we are discussing?

You might want to look up selection bias.

Yeah, I'm sure the kids are having fun with their annual games. I've yet to see an irl friend talk about how good AC: Unity was. Yet they still bought it and will buy next year's crap as well. The definition of insanity I say... I hear my friends complain all the time about Cod and Assasins Creed yet they still buy it. I don't understand why, but that's the way it is. When I mention Metroid around them they act like I'm from a different planet. When I mention it's made by Nintendo they already dismiss it as a kiddy game without knowing what's it about. Sales say little about quality.

Might also want to read about confirmation bias while you're at it.

I never said sales = quality, but you pretty much said that nobody liked those top games (Destiny, WD etc.)...
