It is ridiculous that Steam pulled this.  If they are going to turn down games that their users request in mass, don't have voting for a game to come to Steam in the first place.  Just put up what you want.

I also don't get peoples overreaction to Hatred.  There have been other games like Hatred before, but just because it has better graphics than those previous games, it's "evil."  I mean, all this game really is is a remake of the first Postal.  (Edit: Guess posting the vid didn't work, so here's a link.)

And also, watch just about any GTA5 playthrough and around half the time is spent "murdering" innocent people when the player is just screwing around.  Hell, the main enemy you kill in the game are officers of the law just doing their job.  And that's not even mentioning the innocent civilians you harm/kill in the main storyline.  To me it just seems like people like to fake like they are better than others because they find that shooting/stabbing polygon characters is unacceptable and upsets them in one game, but are completely fine shooting/stabbing similar polygon characters in other games.  Usually coming up with poor reasonings as to why its okay in the games they enjoy.

it's a tinyyyyyyyyyyyy bit more graphic than Postal. duh.

at any rate Postal 2 was banned in some regions. this is more extremely than that though and it appears much more serious. I think the tone is the problem. why would anyone want to play a game where they murdering people for absolutely no reason over and over? generally games have some degree of plot and this one appears limited in that department....

I would.  It's just a game after all.
