Guys, when we support online multiplayer on Mario, we're not talking about "playing with strangers". We're talking playing with actual friends. Yes, because it's not always that you live close to your friends, or have the time to all gather in the same house or something, so online comes in handy. Best example: LittleBigPlanet. I've beaten both games both in couch co-op and in online with friends, and it was fun both ways.
Not adding the option for online is just weird.
Actually, that's my opinion, I can't talk for everyone... so scratch that "we" at the beginning.
