They remove content that they judge will bring too much negative backlash to their platform and allow content they judge will be just fine. If they as the platform owner feels that a game is morally disgusting, they still have every right to tell the developer "no thanks". Since when did it become Valves responsibility to open up their platform to anything people want to put on it? |
They are able to turn games away from Steam yes, but then why didn't they remove other games that were controversial like Postal or Wolfenstein. According to Valve they removed the game claiming that "they wouldn't publish a game like this" when there are other games that both have questionable quality such as Air Control or controversial games like Postal was.
