Definitely, because it's a still young culture that derived from multiple european ones. It's not like Murica=world but like having the american pop culture overall dominating. And that means, that you can find movies, tv-shows etc. from there pretty much everywhere, but you will find much less from the most european countries altogether somewhere outside their homecountry. Partially that might only be a language barrier. |
You would not beleive the amount of shows from foregin countries that people take for granted as American. The Amazing World of Gumball is british made, Total Drama, Ruby Gloom, Calliou is Canadian, Totally Spies is from France, etc. There's tonnes more shows from other countries than you probably think.
