While I liked Leon a lot, never cared much about the villain, Krauser or Ashley, and while there weren't that many moments, I never liked babysitting Ashley much (thankfully she's almost absent at the second half of the game). RE4 doesn't feature co-op. It's also less fluid than RE5 (understandable because it was an older game, but that's the reason why I value the sequel more too). |
The co-op is the biggest reason why I dont like it. The game feels more like COD than RE. There are some cool aspects to the game, like Albert Wesker and the location, but the AI is horrible and I dont want co-op in horror games. It takes away what little scares the game might have had. The controls works great in RE4 because the game was designed around them. In RE5 they just feels clunky because its more of an action game and Dead Space showed what building on the RE4 controls could be. To me Dead Space is RE5 Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine are the most boring characters in RE history. They have zero personality.
RE5 is the most disappointing game ever for me. Even RE6 is way better.
