1) Because it will be discounted after a month. Patience is rewarded. Most movies are overhyped and not worth blockbuster prices anyway.
2) I don't have to pay for sex, so I can't relate to you on this one...
3) Exactly. Read something else for a couple of months and get it cheaper. Sometimes, the answer is in the question.
