Looks like it won't be close. The X1 is shaping up to dominate at an even bigger scale than it did in November. The homeland is in the bag, them 360 players are finally upgrading.

Go Green!

While it's great the XB1 is doing well i think it's too early to call anything. The deals are insane, and hard to pass up, but they won't last into the new year. Sony has yet to do anything with PS4's price also. We still haven't seen what a plain $350 XB1 can do against PS4. $399 didn't do anything so i'm curious what a $50 price difference would do if it stays that way. MS can't give away free games the entire generation.

Well for this month like November. I think its already set in stone. That's why I'm surprised MS haven't made the price drop permanent. This is an easy win for them.

Also, I believe MS can give away free games the entire generation. They print money man. This is but a drop in the bucket for them.

But it's not an easy win. It took a $170 price drop under a year with free games and gift cards to beat Sony. I wouldn't call that easy. That's doing everything you possibly can to win. Which, imo, puts Sony in a good position for the future since MS is doing all these things so early. It makes price drops later on less effective for XB1 since it's already so cheap. All the while Sony still has room to change their price. And MS may have alot of money, but no company likes to lose it. Not even Apple.
