There are different shades of success. A critical success (which it is), a commercial success (which I am much less sure of), etc. The language used is not definitive and doesn't exactly say it is the latter (sales). "Warmly welcomed" is vage and could mean different things, but I'm inclined to think it's not sales related, so that's a different kind of success for them.
